Joyous dancer sings her poem to Heather

For Heather:

This is the part you have waited for.
No mad wild heat
lists to do
children to teach
examples to set.
Just books to read
flowers to grow
friends to welcome
universes to create.
Small moments that previously
escaped your notice
fill you and expand
to create a horizon
that is infinite.
Happy Birthday, Dear Enchantress!
You have made us all dance with joy.

Oh Karen! I am touched. This is precisely what I am adjusting to and it is a joy not to have to be on my best behaviour. Small moments are expanding to fill my universe and it is all quite delicious.

Oh Karen,
What a beautiful Poem ,I would love one just like that on my Birthday...I will try to be the Enchantresse's handmaiden so I can work towards one.........
For friends to say I made them dance with joy ..What more could I want..............
The most simple things are truely the most wonderful
A book to read
A song to listen to
A cup of tea with a friend
A day in anyones garden
A joyous flower to put in a vase
A sweet delicacy to savour
and for me The Sea to look at each day
A good companion to share it with, and that is my dog Jessie.

Thank you all, darlings! And not just aging, but rediscovering one's creativity is also "the time we have been waiting for," and here we are, all on this lovely road together.
