I am shattered - does this mean we have lost Leonie?
Yes I am afraid we have Gail. I have posted notices and messages at Riversleigh and on the new Writeboard and put up posts on The Isle of Ancestors and at the Cave of the Enchantress. I am utterly bereft and shattered by the news, from her daughter, that Leonie died of a massive heart attack on the weekend. I cannot stop crying.
This is very sad news. I loved her work and I loved adding to the Art Room she looked after so well at the Hermitage Regions. Her posts were always fascinating and enlightening, and her embroidery work was absolutely stunning. I will treasure the art cards she sent me for a trade as a reminder of her art and spirit. Blessings to her.
The news this morning is so sad. Leonie was a gentle and beautiful soul. I'm sorry I did not have the opportunity to know her better.
